About Rebecca Forrester

Rebecca Forrester founded Green Ink Design Studio in 2010. Having work in the industry for 7 years prior, Rebecca identified the need for a high standard of residential design and drafting within her local area. Rebecca is respected for her knowledge and high level of detail which sees the majority of Green Ink’s work obtained through referrals. Rebecca is relatable and has the ability to understand what your requirements and dreams for your home and translate this into her designs. 

Rebecca has a Masters of Architecture from Curtin University and a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) from the University of Newcastle.

Rebecca is a wife, a mother to two school aged children and lives and breathes architecture.  From a very young age, Rebecca, has had a keen interest in architecture, from immersing herself in books to sketching her dream home, to holding up plasterboard as her parents renovated their family home, to now renovating her own home. For Rebecca architecture and design has very much been a part of her entire life. 

Over the last 20 years, Rebecca, has seen first-hand how homes can improve or negatively impact our lifestyles. Your home is important; it is where you are your most vulnerable and therefore should be a reflection of you and your family and make your life easier. Rebecca takes her role as your designer very seriously, and understands there is a great deal of trust placed on her to achieve your vision for your home. Through an individualised service Rebecca gets to know her clients, discussing in detail all their wants, needs and dreams, and continuing to work with them to explore the possibilities for their home. This is where Rebecca finds the greatest joy seeing her clients love their home that not only works for them but feels great and makes them feel great in them. 

For Rebecca design isn’t what she does, it is her way of life.
